Main Presentation:

Physical Water Conditioning is of interest to Engineers as it enables them to offer their clients alternatives to conventional water softeners. Some of this technology is far less expensive to install, it takes up less space and requires no maintenance, with a life considerably exceeding that of conventional softeners.

There is still a considerable amount of uncertainty about how well these devices work, how reliable and how effective they really are. This presentation is designed to answer most of these questions.

Presenter:

Jonny Secombe is Chairman and owner of Lifescience Products Ltd, the parent company of Aqua-Rex LLC in the USA. He has worked in the water treatment industry for nearly 30 years, specializing in investigating alternatives to conventional water softeners. He has a degree from Oxford University in Geography and Geology and currently consults with the Engineering department of the University.

He lives in the UK but spends about half his time in the USA, training, lecturing and writing about water softener alternatives. As well as ASPE, he is an accredited CPU provider with the Chartered Institute of Building Services Engineers and the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers in the UK.
